Trustees
The charity has two trustees who will have sole control over releasing any money, Helen Ralston and Trevor Stanton. This would happen only when they are satisfied that the request is appropriate and timely. The other team members of Kamuli Friends include:
Dr. Philip Unwin
KAMULI FRIENDS FOUNDER
A GP from Henley who has been visiting Kamuli Mission Hospital since 2006, Philip has been an integral part of the latest developments as well as getting involved in clinical work during his visits. He has also leads the organisation of the fundraising events, which have been a great success.
Dr. Alice Unwin
HEAD OF VOLUNTEERING
As a junior doctor with a special interest in overseas medicine, Alice helps facilitate the introduction of volunteers and elective students to Kamuli mission hospital as well as getting stuck into the clinical work at the hospital. She has great relationships with all the Mission Hospital Staff.
Dr. Fred Lohmander
consultant surgeon
Fred is a consultant breast surgeon from Sweden who provides invaluable surgical knowledge on his regular visits to Kamuli mission hospital. Fred is currently raising awareness of the work done in Kamuli Mission Hospital in Sweden.
Ms. Trudie Franklin
charity secretary
Trudie has been an integral member of the team since the outset. She is the secretary for Kamuli Friends and is involved in helping with managing the finances and communications across all areas of the charity.
